The excursions will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 after the afternoon session starting with 15:30. The participants will receive tickets according to their choice expressed before 15th of August  among the two options:

1. Discover Bucharest – The Discovery Bucharest tour offers a dynamic introduction to the city’s rich architectural and historical heritage, covering key moments from the monarchy and the elegant interwar period to the communist era and post-1989 transformations. Participants explore iconic sites such as Revolution Square, Calea Victoriei, the Old Town, the Royal Palace, the University Square, and the Romanian Athenaeum. The tour highlights how Bucharest’s identity has been shaped by kings, dictators, and democratic transitions. It’s a 2.5-hour journey through the layers of a city constantly reinventing itself.

2. Hidden Gems of Bucharest – The Hidden Gems tour reveals Bucharest’s most charming and lesser-known neighborhoods, where winding streets, garden villas, and quiet courtyards tell the story of the city’s Belle Époque charm. Participants explore former mahallas that have preserved their intimate atmosphere and sense of community, far from the bustle of the main boulevards. With a mix of Neo-Romanian and Art Deco architecture, the tour highlights how daily life and local identity have evolved across generations. It’s a 2.5-hour walk into the heart of Bucharest’s residential soul.

Conferences dinner will take place on Thursday, 4th of September, starting 20:00, at Grand Hotel Bucharest (Nicolae Bălcescu 4 Boulevard), Ronda Ballroom located on the first floor.
